Marriage Encounter    729-2866

The Marriage encounter weekend gives couples the tools to turn good marriages into great ones. The Marriage Encounter weekend provides a conductive environment for couples to spend time together, away from the distractions and tensions of everyday life, while encouraging them to focus on each other and their relationship.

Serra Club    729-2866

The Serra Club for men and women is "the vocation arm of the Church". Join us to pray and work for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We attend Mass before our monthly breakfast meeting. An evening meeting is also held each month.

Prayer Chain    729-2866

The prayer chain acts when prayers are needed immediately for a special intention. Members are informed by telephone and contact a small number of parishioners who, in turn, telephone others. The prayer chain is an ideal opportunity for those who are homebound to give to the parish community.

Small Christian Communities    729-2869

Small Christian Communities (SCCs) are groups of people who gather in homes and invest time with one another for the common purpose of applying gospel values to every aspect of their lives. In this context it is easier to hear the word of God and to reflect on our lives and human problems through the lens of sacred Scripture. Benefits include:

  • A mutually supportive group where thoughts and feelings can be expressed openly and comfortably
  • A bonding friendship with other parishioners with common Christian interests
  • Participating in social events, social action, charity projects, education, and discussion about issues related to our faith

SCC members are parishioners who want to get to know other members of our community and become more active in it. These small gospel-focused groups are fast becoming the most effective model of church for Catholics, Protestants, and many other denominations throughout the world.

Prayer Groups    729-2866

The mission of Saint Patrick Holy Spirit Prayer Group is to worship God in prayer, song, teaching, and discussion. Our ministry is to pray and intercede for the prayer requests of the members and parishioners. We welcome everyone to our meetings each Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Library.
